Which is famous for its -also amazing- beaches. It offers you moments of absolute summer in a pristine natural landscape, with the Aegean stretching endlessly in front of you. It is also suitable for hiking on remarkable trails for lovers of the species.
Keros ceased to be inhabited in 1968. But in no case does it lose its interest, as it is a very important archeological site. The excavations in it have brought to light findings of the Early Cycladic period (3,200 – 2,000 BC). Which in fact have inspired artists like Pablo Picasso.
The dining options in Pano Koufonisi are plentiful, so you must make a choice. Captain Nicholas is suitable for lobster spaghetti, shrimp pie and cacao. Neo Remezzo for fresh fish and wonderful pies of the day. If you want something more creative but always focusing on the flavors of the sea, there are the Small Cyclades. For souvlaki, the famous Strofi is certainly recommended, while you will find the top mornings in Kalamia. For meat lovers there is Michalios, highlighting the kid Kerou in the oven.
